Ariston washing machines are well-deserved due to their reliability, stylish design and modern functionality. But if your assistant suddenly refused to work, pay attention to the symbols that are lit on the display of the device or the flashing indicators on the panel.

And we will show you how to decrypt the most common washing errors and the subsequent steps to repair it.

Breakdown Code Definition Principles

In cars equipped with an informative display, it is not difficult to find out the error code - it will be highlighted in bright yellow or green.

But if the model is less “advanced”, to find out the cause of the breakdown, you will have to unravel the code programmed by the manufacturer at the prompts of the light indicators.

The meaning of the Hotpoint-Ariston indicators
Numerical values of indicators for calculating the breakdown code on the panel of the Hotpoint-Ariston washing machine, not equipped with a digital display

The algorithm for determining breakdown by the signal of the bulbs:

  1. We recall the model of our typewriter Ariston (or check the information on the case or in the instructions).
  2. We remember exactly which indicators signal a breakdown.
  3. We find our device in the drawings.
  4. We determine the digital value for each indicator.

It remains to add the received data together and decode the error code.

Ariston AVSL and AVL Indicators
The sum of the numerical values of the numbers of flashing lights on the panel of the Ariston AVSL and AVL models will help to decrypt the code programmed at the factory

For example, if the lights corresponding to the values “2” and “1” blink on the washing machine, then you should look for the causes of the problems encoded as F03 (or F3, which is basically the same thing). According to this simple algorithm, other typical breakdowns are also determined.

The meaning of the AQUALTIS indicators
Unlike most Ariston machines, the AQUALTIS model doesn’t indicate internal malfunctions, not washing modes, but water temperature indicators

When the error code is clarified, it remains to determine the essence of the breakdown, and then decide whether it is possible to eliminate it with your own hands or is it better to contact the wizards immediately.

Problems with the engine or control board

If you loaded things into the device compartment, turned on the appropriate mode and pressed the “Start” button, but the drum does not spin, most likely, the problem lies in the operation of the motor or the control controller, which the display will signal to you with a code F1, F2 or F18. Although such breakdowns can occur at any other stage of washing, but most often they are displayed exactly at the start of the program.

Malfunctions under the code F01 (F1)

Error F01 indicates problems in the motor control circuit, which drives the drum of the washing machine. If there is no reaction to the signal from the electronic controller (board), the device will not work, and when you try to switch to any other program, it will continue to persistently display the error code.

Error F01
The reasons for the breakdown of the engine control module with the code F1 / F01 are most often problems with the voltage in the mains or increased humidity in the room

Self-repair process:

  1. A universal option for any codes is to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, wait 10-15 minutes and turn it on again - there is a chance that the electronics will reboot and stop generating an error. But even if everything worked out and the device began to work, it is worth taking precautions so that the "first swallow" does not lead to serious damage.
  2. Trigger a signal F1 can decrease the voltage in the network (below 200 V) or a sharp jump, as well as damage to the plug or kink of the power cord. Try not to turn on the washer at the same time as other powerful energy consumers or through an extension cord, because ideally this device needs a dedicated line with its own automatic machine.
  3. Inspect the cord, plug, and the outlet itself — perhaps the cause is a malfunction.
  4. High humidity in the bathroom can also cause problems in the motor control circuit. Remove moisture from the board contacts and ventilate the room more often so that the humidity level in it does not exceed 70%.
  5. The cause of the error may also be the contact separation in the engine control circuit. If you have the skills to work with electronics, you can independently check the circuit from the instrument motor to the board for the quality of the connections, using a multimeter to call all areas of suspicion.

If independent attempts to repair did not lead to a positive result, the cause may be a breakdown or a failure in the firmware of the control board, worn out electric motor brushes, a burned-out motor winding, or damage to the cable with wires. It is better to contact a service center to restore or replace these parts.

Decoding of signals F02, F2

Such an error most often occurs at the start of the program or at the spin phase, when the machine is gaining speed to scroll through the laundry (the drum itself may twitch or rotate intermittently). The device will display a code F02 and at the same time begins to drain the water.

Usually this signal indicates a malfunction in the motor circuit or a breakdown of the tachogenerator - a small part with a ring that controls the engine speed of the washing machine.

Washing machine tachogenerator
To inspect the tachogenerator, you will have to partially disassemble the device, get to the engine and find a metal ring with wires on its shaft

Solution to the problem:

  1. If the machine first displays an error, the cause may be a one-time malfunction of the electronics from surges in the network. Unplug the device from power for 10-15 minutes to restart the equipment.
  2. Check if the drum itself is blocked - it should be free to scroll by hand. But if a small object gets between the drum and the tank during washing, the culprit of the breakdown should be carefully removed and the machine restarted.
  3. Problems with contacts - it is necessary to check the serviceability of the connections from the board to the electric motor, including the section with the tachogenerator.

But a mistake F2 It can also be a consequence of more serious failures, the elimination of which will require the replacement of a motor, tachogenerator or control board. In such cases, it is better to contact the workshop, it may be possible to do this by replacing the faulty rations on the control module or repairing damaged wiring.

Communication or board error with codes F09, F18

Electronic controller malfunction signal code F18 only Aristons with an asynchronous motor (Hotpoint-Ariston, Margherita, AVSL, AV, AVL, AVTL, CDE models) can give out, on devices with a collector motor there are no such errors.

Ariston washing machine controller
The controller is an electronic board that is responsible for choosing the washing mode and displays it on the display, gives commands to the intake and drain valve, pump, pressure switch and controls the operation of the engine

Symptoms of a controller malfunction:

  • Incorrect engine operation - sudden changes, too high or, conversely, unreasonably low speed.
  • The drum does not rotate when the washing mode starts.
  • Spin does not work.
  • The machine draws water and immediately drains, giving a damage signal on the display.

F09 - a memory error may occur during voltage surges in the network or its decrease. But it can also indicate a failed control unit.

The first action after flashing codes F09 and F18 identical to previous problems - turn off the machine, give time to reboot and turn it on again. If the cause is not a failure, it is necessary to check the microcircuit board.

Firmware for the washing machine control board
But if you do not have the skills for such a repair, you need to entrust it to professionals who can reflash the controller, solder the contacts, replace only some elements (for example, a power capacitor) or the entire board

Problems with heating water

If during the washing mode the washing machine hangs for a long time, stops, does not heat or constantly drains water, the cause of the breakdown should be sought in the heating circuit. The instrument will signal codes with these codes. F04, F07 or F08.

Failure of the heater or pressostat and codes F04, F07

In washing modes where heating is required, the error can be displayed immediately after starting, or after water intake, but rinsing or washing in cold water will work properly. In this case, there are several solutions to the problem (in addition to the standard switch on / off the machine to reboot the controller).

If the code appeared on the display at the washing stage or at startup (the machine does not even want to draw water), most likely the reason lies in the heating element itself. It can “punch” onto the case when the contacts move away or simply burn out.

To fix the problem, you need to get to the heater, check all its connections, change the resistance with a multimeter (at 1800 watts it should give out about 25 ohms).

Replacing the heater
To replace a defective heater, disconnect the cable with wires, unscrew the fastening nut (1), press on the stud (2) and pry off the rubber band (3), then install a new part and reassemble in the reverse order

If the device collects and then immediately drains the water, the cause may be a breakdown of the pressure switch - the water level sensor. In case of malfunctions, this element can give the controller information that the heater was not immersed in water, so the machine does not start heating.

In this case, it is necessary to check the tube of the water pressure sensor with a pressure switch (the hose may become clogged, bend, fray or slip off). At the same time, inspect the contacts of the sensor itself - you may need to clean them. But more precisely the code says about the breakdown of the pressure switch F04 - most likely, the part will require replacement.

Washing machine pressure switch
To check the operation of the pressure switch, you need to put on its inlet fitting a small piece of hose with a diameter identical to the removed tube and blow it - characteristic clicks will be heard in the working part

In some cases, the problem may be in the board itself, faulty wiring, or contact groups in the area from the board to the heater or water level sensor. Therefore, you should ring all the elements of the control unit associated with the operation of the heating circuit, if necessary, replace burned-out tracks or the controller itself.

Malfunctions in the heating circuit and symbol F08

If the water heating does not work correctly (or the typewriter “seems” to start when the tank is empty), an error code will appear on the display F08. The cause most often is a malfunction in the pressure switch circuit.

Such a problem can occur due to high humidity in the room, which negatively affects the controller. To make sure that the board is in order, inspect it, wipe it dry or blow it with a hairdryer.

Another simple solution to the problem can be the disconnected contacts of the heater and the pressostat, especially if the device was first started after transportation. In other cases, a more professional inspection with possible replacement of parts will be required.

How to ring TEN
First make sure that there is really no water in the tank, then remove the rear panel of the machine and check the heater with a tester

Probable malfunctions of Ariston cars, indicated by the F8 code:

  • If the washing mode is interrupted immediately after starting up or at the washing stage and the appliance does not heat water, most likely, replace the heater.
  • If the machine stops after starting, when switching to rinse mode or does not squeeze it out, it is possible that the controller “stuck” the contact group of the heating element relay in the on state. In this case, you can replace the failed elements of the chip and, if necessary, reflash the board.
  • If the device “freezes” in various modes (it can be either washing, rinsing or spinning), the wiring or contacts in the heater circuit may be damaged, or the pressure switch may break, which considers that a sufficient amount of water does not enter the machine.

But if when checking all the connections of the circuit and separately the pressure switch, the heater relay and the heating element itself, no damage is detected, you will have to change the controller.

Errors in the operation of the drain or water intake

If the machine can’t draw water or, on the contrary, stops working, although its tank is full, codes are displayed F05, F11 or H2O. Let's try to understand the essence of such breakdowns.

Drain violations and codes F05 or F11

Error F05 / F5 it always lights up with a full drum, but attempts to force drain are unsuccessful - the machine "does not give out" water and continues to signal a breakdown.

In this case, a crack can be heard, as if some foreign object or a pump humming had got into the impeller of the fan. Such a breakdown is a fairly common occurrence with Ariston machines, and in most cases you can fix it yourself.

Most often, the problem lies in the banal drain filter clogging or drain hose - when washing, various hairs, threads, buttons, dirt particles and fine litter are separated from things, which gradually clog the gap for water to escape.

To remove them, it is necessary to drain the water manually through a filter (if it is not clogged, but the hose) or manually scoop out the drum.

Drain pipe
If the machine has blocked the doors and the water does not drain through the filter or through the hose, you can remove the liquid by unscrewing the drain pipe

Then check the condition of the drain filter (small hatch at the bottom of the machine), the pipe itself, rinse the hose under good pressure. At the same time, inspect the siphon or pipe if the drain is organized directly into the sewer.

Then reassemble the system in reverse order, turn on the machine to the rinse program, make sure that it has collected water, and forcibly switch to spin - if there is an error F05 does not appear, but the drain works, which means that the problem is solved.

Drain filter cleaning
To avoid breakage, wash wool and fur products in a special bag, be sure to check the pockets of clothing before loading and arrange a routine inspection of the filter at least once every two to three months

If it’s not a blockage, the following options are possible:

  1. Damage to the drain pump / pump - a part may simply require replacement, having honestly worked out its resource, or fail due to the penetration of a foreign object, an open coil of the engine or a short circuit. First you need to disassemble the pump, remove the debris, check the circuit and try to restart the machine. If the problem persists, you will have to replace filter.
  2. Malfunctions in the operation of the electronic controller - the corresponding tracks or radio components on the microcircuit may burn out or oxidize (most often due to the same high humidity), a firmware failure will occur.
  3. Damage to the pressure switch - if the sensor provides information that the tank is empty, the machine simply will not start the drain program, so the defective part must be replaced.
  4. Wiring problems - you need to check whether power is supplied to the drain pump when it is turned on.

Similar problems can occur with an error. F11. Although most often this code indicates a breakdown of the drain pump (the inspection should be started from it), it can also be the result of incorrect operation of the pressure switch, controller or damaged wiring.

Problems with water intake and H2O code

Another common mistake, firsthand familiar to owners of Ariston typewriters, is the code H2Oindicating water supply problems. Usually it occurs 5-7 minutes after the start (in rare cases, rinsing), and the device may not let water in at all, or collect too much of it.

H2O water supply error
The mistake with water supply is perhaps the only intuitive among other codes, as it is associated with the chemical formula H2O

Sometimes a mistake H2O may appear randomly on different programs, but its characteristic feature is that the drain and spin modes always work flawlessly.

Intake Hose Valve Strainer
The H2O code is often issued when the mesh of the filler valve is clogged, so you need to remove it with pliers and thoroughly rinse the cells under water pressure

Possible causes of failure:

  1. Lack of water in the water supply, insufficient pressure or shut off of the supply valve to the device. Here the actions are clear: open the tap, wait for the restoration of water supply.
  2. Damage to the water intake valve that “lets in” water into the device - if it breaks, this part is easier to replace with a new one than to try to repair it.
  3. Malfunction of the pressure switch - if the hose becomes clogged or damaged or the sensor itself breaks down, the machine will constantly collect and immediately drain the water, highlighting the error H2O.

But if all the elements work, it could be a signal breakdown due to damaged wiring or a malfunction of the electronic controller.

Other errors and their interpretation

In total, in the arsenal of Ariston cars there are 19 code signals of malfunctions, of which we examined the most common.

But in brief we will tell about other possible malfunctions in the operation of the equipment:

  • F03 - breakdown of the temperature sensor. It is necessary to check the resistance of the sensor itself (normally about 20 OM), as well as the circuit to the controller. Replace damaged parts as necessary.
  • F06 - indicates a malfunction in the circuit of the hatch blocking device for Ariston cars on the Arcadia platform (Low-End and Aqualtis series), as well as problems with the control buttons for Dialogic models. In the first case, you should see if some thing from the load prevents the door from slamming shut until it clicks. In the second - the problem may be with sticky buttons or damaged contacts.
  • F10 - There is no signal from the water level sensor. The device can give such an error if the drain is improperly connected to the sewer, insufficient water pressure or an open circuit from the sensor to the board.
  • F12 - lack of communication between the controller and the display module. If the reboot does not help, you need to check the control board, display unit and their connection.
  • F13 - open circuit or breakage of the drying temperature sensor will require replacement of the part or worn contacts.
  • F14 or F15 - malfunction of the heating element for drying or an open in the heater circuit.
  • F16 - a signal for machines with vertical loading about the breakdown of the drum lock sensor. Most often it happens due to banal carelessness - for example, sashes that are not closed until they click. In other cases, the cause may be weak contacts in the circuit to the board or failure of the sensor itself.
  • F17 or door - "speaks" of insufficiently tight hatch closure. Perhaps the problem lies in the penetrated foreign object, weak hinge fasteners or a dirty lock for the “tongue” of the door. If no external culprits have been identified, most likely, the device that locks the door for the duration of the machine’s operation is faulty, which should be replaced.

And in any of the options, the rule applies: in addition to the specific part that the device "points to", the breakdown may lie in a faulty circuit board, damaged contacts or broken wiring.

Conclusions and useful video on the topic

I bought an Ariston washing machine three years ago, it worked this time without any problems and malfunctions. A month ago, it suddenly began to rattle violently during the spin cycle, vibrate and crawl out of its place, and at a fairly large distance, but at the same time it erases according to a given program, it squeezes well. There is no overload in the car. Installed smoothly in level, does not stagger. Do not tell me what could be the reason?

Hello. Your symptoms are indicative of the following diagnoses:

      1. Problems with shock absorbers or machine springs. Shock absorbers are not an eternal detail, they may fail over time or with improper use of the washing machine. The machine starts to vibrate violently, can “jump” if the floor is level, and also, during its operation, peculiar taps of a stably dimensional character. When the drum stops completely, you hear a thud. You can check it manually - when you click on it, the drum sways from side to side, in the usual version, it smoothly returns to its place. The solution is to replace both cushioning components. Springs also wear out over time, so they may also need to be replaced. Symptoms - the tank is skewed to the side, the sealing gum is deformed.

2.The counterweight is a vibration damper, located on the washing tank. They can wear out over time. Symptoms - vibration, normal knock, without rattle. Counterweights are checked after removing the back cover of the washing machine. The solution is to replace the counterweight.

      3. Bearing wear. Located on the drum shaft, closed with an oil seal. if water for some reason has penetrated into it, it may become worthless, but in principle, it itself is not durable. Symptoms - whistling, rattle, small crunches and stuff, with manual rotation of the drum. The solution is to replace the bearing.

If you do not have any skills to diagnose and repair SMA, consult a specialist. Most problems require expensive repairs, and independent intervention will exacerbate the situation.

Ariston ATD-120 Faulted F-08. Checked ten, temp. sensor (20 kOhm ringing), relay - everything is in order. Again launched, lights up F-02. Check what? The telemaster himself.

Hello. Unfortunately, I do not have information on a specific model, but I will try to help you solve the problem by the example of frequently occurring error problems of this type of SMA in Ariston.

F-08 is really a heating failure. But it is absolutely not necessary to blame the heater. Heating failure can occur for various reasons:

      1. After some time after the start, during washing, the machine cannot heat water when it is in the spin / rinse mode. This problem indicates a breakdown of the temperature sensor or the heater itself. Solution - Broken / burnt elements should be replaced.

      2. The option when an error occurs at the stages of installing the program and launching it, in the rinse mode or when switching to it, in the spin mode or when switching to it. Then this is a problem with the wiring or the contact circuit is broken somewhere in the area from the heater, as well as from the pressure switch sensor to the control module. The solution is to replace, twist, solder the wiring / contacts or strip them. In addition, it is possible that the pressure switch itself has failed. The pressure switch is a water level sensor, it could be switched off and does not understand if the tank is filled with water. The solution is to replace the pressostat. Also, immediately after the machine starts, an error can signal a breakdown of the interference filter.

      3. Failure of the control module.

As for F-02, this is usually:

      1. Problem with the tacho sensor (Hall sensor). This part controls the speed of rotation of the drum capacity of the CMA. Symptoms - F02 error, the drum rotates by hand without restrictions and stupor. The solution is to replace the sensor.

      2. Motor breakdown, brush wear, short circuit.

      3. Open circuit or contacts.

      4. Problem with the control module. Symptoms - draws water, then drains, without starting the drum motor. This may be a burnout on the board or a program failure. The solution is repair, flashing.

The error may be related to the previous one or be on its own. The machine needs a high-quality diagnosis, unfortunately, it will be very difficult for us to define a “disease” in words.

Hello, Vladimir (telemaster)! But was it not weak that it was guaranteed to independently verify the serviceability of the temperature sensor and the heating element by removing these two parts? Connect an ohmmeter to the terminals of the temperature sensor immersed in a container with water (for example, in an electric kettle) and observe a smooth change (decrease) in its resistance when heating water. Well, and the heater, in principle, is no different from a boiler, explaining its check is not the same, having a bucket of cold water.

Next: verify the integrity (low resistance) in the wires from the indicated elements to the control unit board. The relay has the property of sticking contacts, or, conversely, when monitoring with an ohmmeter, it is normal, but with a real load, “a little bit wrong”. If everything above is normal, look in the control unit board.

  3. Everything is in order with our hotpoint (Hotpoint-Ariston is written on it - is it, as I understand it?), But it’s useful to know in the future. Thank.

Hello. What are the symptoms of a breakdown? Does the door snap in? Gives an error? Please describe in more detail.

  5. Leona

Wow, I didn’t know that this happens with hotpoints, thanks for the info!

  6. Hello! In Hotpoint Ariston ARTXD109 washing machine error F16 is displayed. Because this is the third time the reason I already know is the problem in the parking lot. When the parker broke down a second time, she called the master, so he did not even know about such a mistake, or where this part was located. When I indicated the place and part that I bought myself, things went faster, because the master knew which screws needed to be unscrewed to remove a metal wheel that looked like a steering wheel (forgive my ignorance, but I don’t know the exact name).

I know how to remove the side panel, where the parking lot is located, which is fastened with two screws (you can not unscrew them) - the master simply connected part of the part to the old terminals. But I didn’t remember what screws he unscrewed! But I can’t find it on the Internet. The car pours water, the display works fine, the motor tries to spin the drum, but it doesn’t work, the pump drains the water. The fact that the problem in the parking lot is unambiguously touches this “steering wheel”. But maybe something else. Do not tell me?

That is, you had one problem, but after the “repair” became another? In general, after the “master” could not understand what was happening and began to act after your prompting, it was necessary to say goodbye and call a competent specialist.

Error F16 on the Hotpoint Ariston ARTXD109 top-loading washing machine indicates that the parking device is malfunctioning. There are two options: either the sensor itself is faulty, or the microswitch.

In your case, the replacement solved the problem, the F16 error no longer appears, but the fact that the machine itself drains the water indicates another problem: it can be mechanical or electronic.

The “master” whom you called could touch the contact of the pump, which now does not work correctly, draining water before washing. Or moisture has got on the contacts of the control unit. In any case, you need to call a competent specialist to solve the problem.

    • Maria

Hello. If the parking attendant flies for the third time, there is no need to try to torment her again, and even more so, try to repair something yourself. I do not presume to blame someone, but 3 times in a row after repair. You just need to change the wizard.

      What could be the reason:

      1. First of all, when the drum cannot close properly. Here it is a mechanical breakdown or the fault of the owners who do not close the door.

      2. The software went astray. The simplest thing is to turn off the machine and after 10 minutes try again to turn it on. It didn’t work - you have to contact the master to clean the “brains” of the washer.

      3. The problem with the contact circuit, for some reason, the contact is broken.

In your place, you should have changed the master. It would also be clear if this happened once, but again after the repair.

  7. Yulia

Good evening! Machine Hotpoint-Ariston ST 702 ST S. You turn on the washing mode (whatever it is), it blocks the door, picks up a little bit of water and does nothing else! I turn it off, turn it on, it starts to work (but it’s only in the quick wash mode, it will take a few turns to get water at others and it will get up!). Nothing more, and even disconnecting from the outlet does not work! Only quick wash mode! What could it be? Thank.

    • Vladimir

There is the first banal tip to solve the problem - check the indicator for closing the hatch. It is possible that the machine simply does not see, does not fix, closing the hatch, therefore, cannot start the washing process. Another simple solution is to check the drain hose.If the drain hose is not fixed properly, then water can leave by gravity, so washing does not start.

Now for the more complicated cases:
      1. Wear on the drum belt. It may just be a loose belt, which must be put in place, if the wear is strong, you will have to replace the belt.
      2. Blown heater - need replacement.

Do not forget to pick up details directly for your model, and preferably original ones.

Hello, Vladimir. No, the belt cannot be the reason, since then the quick wash mode would not work either. And there are no other characteristic symptoms. Here you also need to pay attention to the detail that fast washing starts working after a reboot.

Damage to the drain is excluded, since the machine drains again during quick washing, and the problem starts after starting water intake on the program, when the drain is still far away.

There was a clear suspicion on the heater (especially since this is the next mode after dialing) that it cannot heat the temperature higher than that of a quick wash, but here we would need an addition from the creator of the question, what about cold conditions, a complete shutdown of heating and rinse, have you tried. There are 14 modes, given that 4 modes at 30 degrees and 1 at 20 degrees ...

So, the main version - “brains” flew.

    • Vladimir

Hello. I will assume the simplest is the problem with the heating element. You say that in other modes, water draws water, and it heats it? What error appears and what preceded the problem? There may also be a software failure, a problem with the pump and filter. But most likely, TEN, it is necessary to diagnose on the spot.

Hello. Definitely, as the guest above is the problem with the management board. Why are such conclusions ... First of all, if a malfunction is associated with any one system, it usually happens (with rare exceptions) that it fails at a particular stage or at least on one system - washing, spinning or draining. This happens on all programs for you. The second sign is the blinking of all indicators.

The instructions for your device do not indicate in the possible malfunctions a solution to this problem. This means that a breakdown requires serious diagnosis. Again, if you don’t get into the system’s dial-up and cannot resolve the problem with the “brain” center of the washing machine, it is best to contact a service specialist. But if there is a desire, time and no offense at your own possible mistake, please contact us, we will help you disassemble the module and conduct diagnostics yourself.

  10. Good afternoon.Tell me, Ariston knocks out error f 5. I cleaned everything as it should, drains and fills the water normally, but when washing it draws water and again error f5. We merge the water in a new way, start it, the water collects and again the error f5.

  11. Good time to all! The Hotpoint 109 front-loading machine, the panel as in the very first figure in the article, suddenly began to fool - when the power cord is connected to the outlet, indicators may light up, even before pressing the “Network” button.

After selecting any program, its execution begins (in normal mode), but as soon as it comes to spin (although it is possible that there is a jump from rinse to spin, I could notice for sure), program execution stops and ALL indicators on the panel blink - both a vertical row and a horizontal rad of LEDs, with a frequency of about 2 Hz.

There is no reaction to the buttons, you can only get the machine out of this state by unplugging the power cord from the network. The start of the “normal” spin (program “B”) ends in the same deplorable way - the car stops and the New Year illumination begins. But if you run the program “C” (delicate spin), then this program runs normally.

I suppose that there was a failure in EEPROM. Is this so, and is it possible to flash memory chips? Is it possible somewhere to buy a separately stitched ROM, or a controller chip (if the program is sewn into it)? I can blow off the faulty microcircuit with a hairdryer on my own, just like soldering a new one.

All with the upcoming rat new year! I wish that the equipment behaves appropriately and does not break!

  12. Andrew

Hello! I have a Hotpoint Ariston ARSF 125 washing machine. It was purchased in 2014. Until recently, it worked clearly, with no complaints! But a problem recently appeared: the machine stopped opening after working in short washing modes, i.e. 15 and 30 minutes of washing.

After starting short-term programs, the machine erases, squeezes, everything does as it should. But at the end of the work, a click occurs, at which it unlocks the door. The green indicator (END) lights up and immediately locks the door for less than a second and the red door lock indicator with the image of the key lights up.

On longer-term washing programs, until recently, everything was in order. But the farther, the more such incidents occur and in long modes! And you have to restart the wash so that the door finally opens !!! Please advise what to do !? Can this be eliminated at all or is it already necessary to prepare to purchase a new machine?
